Fabled Coast Productions is an independent, one person audio fiction studio, run by Michael McCormack, creating stories shaped by the fog, folklore, and fierce beauty of Cape Cod and the Islands.
Stories where the everyday meets the uncanny — where fishermen trade rumors with ghosts, summer tourists stumble into local legends, and quiet towns echo with secrets carried by the tide. Every series is rooted in this place: the creak of an old dock, the hum of a diner at midnight, the rush of wind off the dunes.
Whether it’s mystery, dark comedy, or modern folklore, our goal is to make listeners feel like they’ve stumbled onto a frequency that belongs only to the Cape.

Who I Am
Michael McCormack
I am the writer, producer, and sound designer for Fabled Coast Productions. I discovered the wonderful medium of audio fiction a couple of years ago, and played with the idea of creating a fiction podcast. Fable Coast is the idea I came up with. A Cape Cod washashore, I moved to the Cape in 1979, and grew up amongst the waves and dunes of the many beaches that dot the area. My hope is that the stories I create through Fabled Coast, capture the beauty, and the mystery of this little strip of land that juts out into the Atlantic ocean.
